Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
This policy explains what information the Complio website collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only — the Complio product console is governed by the separate agreement that comes with it.
Information you give us
When you request a demo we ask for your name, work email, company name and company size, the country you are in, and — optionally — how many branches you run, your phone number, and a short message about what you would like to see.
You decide what to send. If you would rather not use the form, write to us at contact@compliohr.com instead.
Information we collect automatically
We use Mixpanel to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, buttons and links clicked, the approximate location derived from your IP address (country and city level), and basic device information such as browser, operating system and screen size.
Mixpanel is configured to store this data on servers in the European Union. If you are visiting from the European Union or EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this browsing analytics only runs after you accept it in the consent banner. Everywhere else it runs by default: the banner tells you it is running, and you can turn it off at any time with “Decline” on the banner or “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page.
The consent banner covers browsing analytics only. When you submit the demo form, the details you entered are sent to Mixpanel — on those same European servers — as a lead record, so that the Complio team can respond to you. That happens because you asked us to get in touch, not because of the banner, and it happens whether or not you accepted analytics.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A small cookie records only which of the two banners to show you — the opt-in request or the notice — based on the country your network connection appears to be in; it holds no identifier. Your answer to the banner is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every visit, and your language and theme preferences are stored the same way.
When analytics are accepted, Mixpanel stores an identifier in your browser so that repeat page views can be counted as one visitor rather than many. Clearing your browser storage removes all of it.
Why we use this information
To reply to demo and early-access requests and to have the conversation you asked for.
To understand which parts of the site are useful, and to improve its wording, layout and content.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Mixpanel Inc. processes analytics data — and stores demo requests as lead records — on our behalf, on servers in the European Union.
A demo request is delivered to the Complio team and may be stored in our own systems so that someone can follow it up.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Demo requests are kept until the request has been handled and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Analytics data is kept for up to 24 months.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@compliohr.com and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
You can turn browsing analytics off at any time — whether you accepted it or it was running by default: choose "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to bring the banner back and decline, or clear your browser storage. To have a demo request you already sent removed, email us instead.
We aim to honour data-protection rights including those under the GDPR and Egypt's PDPL.
Children
This site is meant for people acting in a work context and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email contact@compliohr.com and we will delete it.
Keeping information safe
We limit access to demo requests to the people who need to act on them, and we rely on established providers to host the site and process analytics. No website can promise perfect security, and we make no such promise.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page, and any significant change is described here.
